Human Trafficking Awareness Forum

St. Paul’s will hold a forum to raise awareness about human trafficking on Sunday, July 14 from 4-5 p.m. This program will introduce Striving for Hope, an anti-human trafficking awareness and fundraising event, at the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes on Saturday, August 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Striving for Hope is a walk along the beautiful grounds of the nature center. Proceeds will help survivors of human trafficking.
Human trafficking has been compared to modern day slavery. There are an estimated 21 million globally trafficked persons. Ohio, the seventh most populous state in the U.S., ranks fifth in the number of human-trafficking cases, according to World Population Review statistics.
