St. Paul’s Cooperative Preschool offers a part-time program which supports children and their families by providing a nurturing foundation. Every child who may benefit from such a program, regardless of race, color, religion, gender, or national origin, is recognized as a unique individual worthy of respect and love. Each class links children together as in a family, with acceptance and trust guiding academic, social and emotional growth.
The school’s teachers use Dr. Becky Bailey’s Loving Guidance principles as their primary philosophy to turn conflict situations into learning opportunities. This approach builds a child’s self-esteem and confidence as he or she grows and learns to communicate and interact with others. The teachers place strong value on their continuing education and are members of the national Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
