St. Paul’s has a number of programs in place to minister to the needs of members and friends of the parish. Our parish clergy want to offer pastoral support if you or a loved one is hospitalized, are facing a significant crisis, or have suffered the loss of a loved one. Please notify the clergy by calling the parish office at (216)-932-5815. In case of emergency, you may reach a clergy person by calling (216) 496-8037.

You can also make a care request online using this form.

Stephen Ministry
St. Paul's is blessed to have a dedicated group of almost twenty Stephen Ministers who provide one-to-one Christian care to individuals in our congregation and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives.  Stephen Ministers complete a 50 hour curriculum in providing emotional and spiritual care, and then meet with a care receiver on a regular basis to listen, care, pray, support and encourage them in their walk of faith.  St. Paul's Stephen Ministers work closely with our clergy who are always on the front lines of care, especially during times of crisis.  To learn about becoming a Stephen Minister or to request a Stephen Minister for yourself or a loved one, please contact the Rev. Richard Israel at risrael@stpauls-church.org.

Care Ministry
St. Paul's Care Ministry seeks to provide personal connection with the homebound as well as short-term support to persons or families experiencing challenging circumstances.
Care Ministry carries out its mission through:

If you know of someone in need of Care Ministry services or if you want to participate in this ministry, please call the Parish Office (216) 932-5815 or speak to one of the clergy.

Knitting Circle
The St. Paul’s Knitting Circle customarily meets in the Bride’s Room from 7 to 9 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday evenings of each month.  Our primary focus is on prayer shawls, worked in a variety of patterns, but we also take on other projects from time to time.  Knitters of all ages & skill levels are welcome to join us!
Prayer shawls are a uniquely tangible way to convey the love and support of the parish to those who find themselves in difficult circumstances.  They are also a wonderful way to mark celebratory occasions.  If you know of someone whose spirits would be lifted by the gift of a prayer shawl, please feel free to call the Parish Office and leave the name of a friend or loved one to be passed on to St. Paul’s pastoral caregivers.

Judson Park Ministry
A Pastoral Care Team from St. Paul's provides a monthly Holy Eucharist service on the second Wednesday of each month at 11 a.m. in the Judson Park Chapel, located in the auditorium at 1801 Chestnut Hills Drive, Cleveland Heights. Volunteers are always needed to assist residents to get to and from the auditorium and to join in the worship service. Training for this volunteer opportunity is provided by Judson's Volunteer Department. If you would like to serve in this important ministry, please contact Patience Hoskins, Coordinator, at (216) 721-8315.
